Mophead hydrangea
$18.00 - $42.00
Blue on acid soil, pink on sweet

- 30-day returns
The old-fashioned hydrangea with heads the size of a grapefruit. On acid soil they come blue; add lime and they turn pink over a season or two.
It flowers on last year's wood, so the pruning happens right after the flowers fade -- not in spring, which is how most of them lose a year.
